All Rights Reserved Website by                    Forest House Designs	PRE - KINDERGARTEN Our Pre–Kindergarten children have turned 5 years of age and have missed the cut off to attend kindergarten.    Their day consists of academics & structured learning time as well as plenty of time for independent and free choice activities.    Activites include a discovery area for hands on science experiments, sand/water play, dramatic play area, and books and puzzles to name a few.    These activities are both teacher directive and non directive allowing children time to be independent.    Every child is given the opportunity to grow socially, emotionally and intellectually which allows them to develop to their fullest potential.   The children’s academic day includes math, science, social studies, language arts, art and music.   This classroom, as well as all of our classrooms, has a designated time during the day for the use of our 'All Purpose Room".    This room allows children to broaden their knowledge about computers as well as work independently at our listening center.    Board games and puzzles are available to allow the children to play independently, with a teacher or with their friends.
